E-Certification Platform for Seeds & Seedlings Regulation
The Plant Protection & Regulatory Services Directorate (PPRSD) has
revamped the national infrastructure for the testing, registration,
release, production, marketing, distribution, certification,
quality control, supply and use of seeds and seedlings in Ghana.
This Portal equips all actors in the agro-inputs value
chain in Ghana and beyond with the modern technological tools
for compliance with the revamped regulations and protocols.
In collaboration with its partners, PPRSD aims to ensure
that it brings together best-in-class mobile and web
technologies to achieve full, rigorous, and secure traceability
of the entire supply chain. Where necessary,
blockchain, machine learning, and similar tools, are integrated to maintain high performance and integrity.
